Hand carved by Yanesha artisans in the Palcazu valley in the jungles of Peru. The artisans collect found wood from the forest ground or use excess recycled wood from bowl and furniture making. Trees are protected and only few are selected to build and make utilitarian items.

Either scraps are recycled or ground wood is collected from the jungle floor to make these beautiful wooden bangles.
