Friend & GlAmazon Zoë Tryon on ClearWater Project

Inspiring friend, Zoë Tryon, is raising funds and working for ClearWater Project in the Cofán community where we work with Asociación Sukû artisans in Ecuador. Zoë has been working with indigenous Amazon communities since 2006. Committed to supporting these ancestral lands and cultures, she helps bring awareness about the devastation caused by oil extraction in the Amazon, while raising needed funds to set up water catchment systems that supply clean drinkable water for the communities that have been left with open oil pits from decades of oil extraction. The vast contamination that continues to seep into ground water, rivers and soil has raised cancer rates, illnesses and deaths in people and fauna in Amazon territory.
